Thank you for all of the kind thoughts and warm wishes. We are trying to wrap up as much of the business as possible. Then we will head south for warmer weather. I was lucky to have such a great mom and was blessed to be able to spend so much time with her these last few years. As she told me a couple of weeks ago, “We make a good team.” Jim was also a big part of that team, and I am so thankful for his love and support.

You did the best you could with the information you had….I know your “mom” appreciated your dedication to her and felt safe to go with her loving family nearby.
Now, with the bad comes the good. You’re on the road and wonderful times are ahead.

I just saw this, so sad yet a big relief. Our mothers had been called to heaven for good reasons. I can relate but our mothers are definitely in a better place in heaven.

Yes, MonaLiza, they certainly are. Our dear friend Cindy also just lost her dad on the 21st. It is so difficult to lose the ones we look up to. We can only hope to live as good an example as they provided for us to live. :). Wishing you and Steve peace this Christmas.
